I loved the whole thing after the "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" bit! That seemed to forced (with the re-pitching and fitting). Very creative bit, though. The rest helps to make the track a classic for years to come. GREAT work!

Yes, I agree that the first bit is not the smoothest. Funny thing, after completing that section I began to experience some of the same difficulties with the second section (Smokey Robinson), then it dawned on me... much easier to change the chords under the vocal, than stretching the vocal to fit the chords. Sometimes, I can be pretty dumb.
I really do like the ending the most. Hopefully, the first section won't scare too many people off, and they will listen through.
Do you think the fast voices over the "Papa was a Rollin' Stone" are okay? Kinda weird.
